The BTV series offers a versatile range of self-regulating trace heating cables designed for pipe freeze protection and process temperature maintenance in applications where steam cleaning is not required. These cables reliably maintain process temperatures up to 65°C (150°F) and can endure intermittent exposure to temperatures as high as 85°C (185°F).
Two outer jacket options are available to suit different environmental conditions: the polyolefin-jacketed (-CR) variant provides good resistance to mild inorganic solutions, while the fluoropolymer-jacketed (-CT) variant delivers robust chemical resistance against aggressive organic compounds and corrosive substances. The range includes four power output levels to match diverse application requirements: 3BTV (9 W/m), 5BTV (16 W/m), 8BTV (25 W/m), and 10BTV (29 W/m), all rated at 10°C ambient temperature.
